Unified Messaging System

CeylonSoft eAssistant Architecture

Bringing All Your Communications Needs Together

The time has come for Unified Messaging.

CeylonSoft's KeethaMailPhone System is the first open Unified Messaging system that was built from the ground up, independent of operating system platforms, independent of messaging systems, and independent of telephony (PBX) switch architectures.

KeethaMailPhone System is a Java-based communication system. Since it is a pure Java based system it can run on Linux, Windows/98/Me/NT/2000/XP/2003, Mac OSX, IBM AIX, HP-UX, and Sun Solaris platforms with a similar user interface on all platforms. This enables the user to access the server information from any Java enabled operating system. The system also comes with a Java applet that can run in any Java based Web browser and allows the users to access the server without any CeylonSoft software loaded on that Internet ready computer.

The KeethaMailPhone already comes with a standard messaging system that is independent of software messaging platforms such as Lotus Notes, Microsoft Outlook/Exchange, and Novell Groupwise. None of these messaging platform vendors have embraced the Unified Messaging as a standard and built their systems based on Unified Messaging. In the past the PBX manufacturers integrated their Voicemail and FAX features into the above mentioned messaging platforms. This made them at risk of supporting many messaging platforms and dependent on the messaging platform changes. In addition, since the integration was not fully thought out when the messaging platforms were implemented, it was ad-hoc and led to many customer frustrations.

CeylonSoft welcomes all PBX manufactures to adopt CeylonSoft eAssistant as the standard messaging platform and leave all messaging related issues to KeethaMailPhone system. CeylonSoft can OEM the KeethaMailPhone platform to any PBX manufacturer at significant cost savings. In most cases the PBX manufacturers will not have to do any development, since most of the standard Voice/FAX boards support their own PBX switch integrations.
